About Rhinestone Patches

Bear Rhinestone Iron-On PatchesRhinestone patches feature sparkling stones attached to a fabric base with an iron-on adhesive backing. They add glamour but need careful heat application to avoid damage.

Step-by-Step Iron-On Instructions

1. Prepare Your Garment: Ensure it’s clean, dry, and wrinkle-free. Iron the area where the patch will be applied.
2. Position the Patch: Place the patch rhinestones facing up exactly where you want it. Use pins or fabric tape to secure if needed.
3. Turn Inside Out: Turn the garment inside out to iron from the reverse side—never iron directly on rhinestones.
4. Protect the Patch: Place a thin cotton cloth over the patch area on the inside (now facing up).
5. Apply Heat: Press your iron firmly for 30 seconds using small circular motions. Avoid sliding the iron. Repeat if needed.
6. Let it Cool: Allow the garment and patch to cool completely before turning right side out or wearing.
7. Optional Stitching: Sew around the edges (avoiding rhinestones) for extra security, especially if washing frequently.

Aftercare Tips

  • Handwash cold and gently to preserve rhinestones.
  • Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
  • Do not iron directly on rhinestones after application.
  • Sew extra stitches for long-lasting hold.
