We didn't set out to build a patch empire.
But here we are.
Patches R Us started with a simple idea in 2020 and grew into a family-run patch business working with individuals, clubs, organisations, agencies and brands across the UK and beyond.
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
It started with patches.
Obviously.
Patches R Us began in 2020 with a focus on patch letters and a simple belief that buying patches in the UK could be easier, more interesting and considerably more personal.
The range grew. Customers started asking us for different things. Then more complicated things. Then completely custom things.
We kept saying yes.
Somewhere along the way, what began as a patch business became a place people came to when they had an idea and needed somebody to work out how to actually make it.
THE STORY SO FAR
From patch letters to...
well, quite a lot.
Businesses rarely grow in a perfectly straight line. Ours definitely didn't.
IT BEGINS
Patch letters. Lots of them.
Patches R Us was born with a focus on quality patch letters and embroidery products for the UK market.
What started as a relatively simple idea quickly began growing into something much bigger.
THINGS ESCALATED
More patches. More ideas.
The catalogue expanded into decorative patches, personalised products and a much wider range of ways to customise clothing, bags and accessories.
Our customers were also starting to ask a very important question:

The weird briefs got more interesting.
Custom patch work became a much bigger part of what we do, with projects for businesses, agencies, sports teams, schools, clubs and organisations.
Different materials. Different backings. Tiny details. Unusual artwork. Larger quantities. Multiple designs.

Today we're based in Cirencester in the Cotswolds, supplying ready-made patches alongside custom patch projects for customers in the UK and around the world.
The projects may be bigger and the briefs may be more complicated, but Patches R Us is still family-run.

Send it over. We'd much rather look at the actual project and work out what's possible than give you a generic answer.
FAMILY-RUN • WITHOUT THE FLUFF
What does family-run actually mean?
To us, it isn't just something nice to put in the footer.
We actually look at your artwork.
Your design isn't automatically pushed through a system. We look at the detail, size and intended use and consider how it should actually be made.
We'll tell you if something won't work.
If lettering is too small, the construction isn't right or we'd recommend doing something differently, we'll tell you before manufacturing it badly.
You get to see the patch first.
Our custom process includes sampling and approval, giving you the opportunity to review how your artwork has translated before full production.
Small still matters.
Not every patch is destined for a global campaign. Sometimes it's for a club, a team, a wedding, a uniform or something genuinely personal.
Big doesn't scare us either.
Multiple designs, larger quantities, repeat orders, stock holding and fulfilment can all form part of the project when you need more than a box of patches.
We genuinely like the unusual ones.
The projects that require a bit of thought are often the most interesting. If you're not entirely sure how your idea should be made, that's okay.

Hello from Cirencester.
Patches R Us is based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, right in the Cotswolds.
This is where we handle our day-to-day operations, review projects, work with samples, quality-check orders and prepare stock and customer orders for dispatch.
Being UK-based also means we're here when you need to actually talk through a project — particularly when a brief is more complicated than clicking “upload artwork” and hoping for the best.
